Visit: Srinagar 4N (House-boat 2N, Hotel 2N), Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Khilanmarg (Affarwat), Pahalgam 1N, Chandanwari, Katra 2N, Vaishnodevi.
Day 01 :
Srinagar Arrive at Srinagar, report to the House boat. Enjoy Dal / Nagin Lake Speed boat ride in the evening.
Day 02 :
Srinagar – Sonmarg Full day excursion to Sonmarg – known as ‘Meadow of Gold’. Later, visit the carpet factory.
Day 03 :
Srinagar Visit Shankaracharya hill and the holy temple. Enjoy Dal Lake Shikara ride and visit island of Char Chinar. Photograph yourself in Kashmiri outfits at Char Chinar. In the afternoon visit Nishat Bagh-‘The garden of pleasure’ and Shalimar Bagh-‘Abod e of Love’. Enjoy shopping in the evening.
Day 04 :
Srinagar – Gulmarg – Khilanmarg (Affarwat) Full day excursion to Gulmarg – known as ‘Meadow of Flowers’. En-route view the apple orchards. Pass by the Golf Course and enjoy the longest Cable Car ride up to the Affarwat snow point. Free time to play and enjoy in the snow.
Day 05 :
Srinagar – Pahalgam Proceed to Pahalgam. En-route visit Avantipur ruins, Cricket bat factory and pass-by the Pampore Saffron fields. Proceed to Chandanwari for a magnificent view of Lidder valley. Once again you can photograph yourself in Kashmiri outfits at various photo studios of Pahalgam. Enjoy get-together with your travel companions in the evening.
Day 06 :
Pahalgam – Katra – Vaishnodevi Arrive at Katra, the base point of Vaishnodevi in the evening. Later proceed for the Vaishnomata Temple, a trek of total 28 kms.
Day 07 :
Vaishnodevi – Katra Free day for relaxation or leisure activity
Day 08 :
Katra – Departure from Jammu Departure to Jammu. Board the train / flight for your hometown. Tour Concludes.
Note :
Guest arriving by train to Jammu will have to take one night stay at Jammu and proceed to Srinagar by Flight or by coach. These arrangements are done by Kesari at an additional cost.
